About Roya, owner of Royaboya's
I'm Roya! I'm so glad you've found your way here to my shop. I've been crocheting since I was about 8 years old, dreaming of being Laura Ingalls Wilder, somewhere in the great woods or prairie.
I have been a fan of heritage arts of all kinds for my whole life, with a particular love of fiber arts from the start. I began selling friendship bracelets to the kids on my swim teams and girl scout troops when I was very young!
I am now a mother of two wild and wonderful kids, wife to a Park Ranger husband, we have an always changing number of dogs, fish, and chickens, and a house whose DIY projects are never ending! I have a yarn subscription business (Yarn of the Month), as well as a private practice as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist! I also teach in the Recreation Department at CSULB. The rest of the time I am pursuing my passions: crocheting, knitting, playing all the games, and figuring out how to be as close to Laura Ingalls Wilder as I can now that I'm an adult.
I believe so much that supporting handmade artisans can help change the world for the better. Thank you for your support in this passion of mine!
